Where: The Masonic Halls, Totnes, Devon When: Friday 21st - Saturday 15th September 10am-2pm What: I will be facilitating this open space event in the future of transport. Cost: free Transition Training Where: Transition Town Totnes offices, 43 Fore Street, Totnes, Devon When: Friday 21st - Saturday 22nd September What: This is the first training in how to create a transition town and an in depth and experiential exploration into the skills and knowledge base of a transition town. We will look at the following areas: raising awareness on Peak Oil and Climate Change setting up the structure project management presentation skills running productive meetings funding/finance 12 steps to Transition introduction to the Energy Descent Action Plan working with local government dealing with the media conflict resolution IT infrastructure responding to Peak Oil and Climate Change skeptics in depth Energy Descent Action Plan skilling up for power down – eco building, energy efficiency, micro renewables, insulation, repairing, food production, permaculture, food preservation, forest gardening setting up a local currencyCost: £95 To book e mail me and i will pass you on the booking form. These evening talks are about 'Peak Oil' or the Transition Town Totnes project - or Your Own Truth introductory events, and are generally 45 minutes- an hour Powerpoint presentation, or a film, or a chance to experience self enquiry, followed by a hours question, comments, and discussion.
